Children Ways

When children are small they learn what they see. Whenthey are in the ages of 1 1/2 and 2 they understand more on what is going on and see their surroundings. Many children think it is ok to do what their brothers, sisters or parents are doing even if it is wrong. Children like to imitate what there family does without knowing what is right or wrong. I have a 1 almost 2 year old brother that loves to imitate my 6 year old sister. If she does something he does it too. Whatever she does he does it too. He likes to follow her around but no one else. He only likes to do what she tells him to do even if sometimes she is not behaving he will learn and continue. We have to sometimes get my sister to teach him not to do certain things because he only listens to her. I think it ties into what Mead had to say about the different stages people have in life.
