Capitalism

When I was in high school I was introduced to Capitalism through my U.S Government and History classes but I never really fully grasped the idea til I watched the video. I honestly thought that the video was so sad. Seeing people working so hard and having it all being taken away from them is heartbreaking. I think that majority of the people in America have experienced Capitalism whether it's taking away your house, car or tv. Now that our economy is doing worse then ever everything is being taken away from us; layoffs of teachers which is leading to an increase in college tuition. People are getting their houses taken away from them, houses that have been in their families for generations and our government is just taking it away like nobody's business. The one part that shocked me most from the Capitalism video was seeing that pilots not getting paid enough. They do so much for us, they keep us safe and they get us to our loved ones far away yet we only pay them a starting salary of $20,000 a year. Something needs to change and we need to make it happen
