Socialization is the Difference

In the article, “Male and female ability differences down to socialization, not genetics” by Robin McKie, he stated that there is not much differences between a males and females. Stating, men have instincts to like the color blue and are bad at coping with pain; while women are bad at telling jokes, but are superior at empathizing with other people. This is because of the way the brain of each gender is programmed since they are born. A raising number of scientists have come to the conclusion that it is the parents develop obstacles in their children brain by telling them that they lack in certain educational things, such as math or verbal skills. Leading us to discover that behavioral differences between children are not inherited, but build upon by their intensified gender culture and the norms the kids are expected to reach according to their sex. Boys tend to develop spatial skills, because they are expected and encouraged to be strong in sports. Girls on the contrary are more emotional and talkative, because their verbal skills are emphasized by their teachers and parents. Something, that tends to induce each gender to create their own personality different to one another. This is why a man’s and woman’s world of socialization is different, because since they are born they are brought up with different expectations according to their gender.
