In Los Angeles, CA a teacher was arrested for being accused
of spoon-feeding his own semen to elementary school students. The name of the
now ex-elementary school teacher is Mark Berndt.
The 61 year old male blindfolded the students and
photographed them for his sexual pleasure. There were a total of 23 male and
female victims, ranging in ages from 7 to 10 years of age.
Further reports stated these crimes took place between 2008
to 2010.
Photographs showed a giant live cockroach crawling on children’s faces
and others showed a blue plastic spoon filled with Berndt's semen held up to
their mouths. Berndt put sugar on the semen for the children to ‘sugar coat it’.
He called the cruel crime the ‘tasting game’.
Los Angeles court has set Berndt’s bail at 23 million. If he’s
convicted, he could face life in prison.
This shocking story is similar to the psychological cases
discussed in class. The story about Genie, for example is similar because both
stories (Genie’s and Mark Berndt’s) reveal the innocence of young children
