For Afghan women, the act of fleeing domestic abuse or forced prostitution may land them in jail while their abusers walk free " In Afghanistan, women are being discriminated based on gender, this institutionalized discrimination takes it to another level by arrest abuse victims for fleeing, calling it a moral crime. This alarming trend brings questions and worries to those aware of the fact that Afghanistan new government is supposed to be trademarked for their gender equality.
