"The Price of Sex"

It is depressing to know that many children and women get their hopes up one moment, thinking about the money they will make and how they will be able to own a house. They believe their lives will improve due to a new job. Little do they know that they are being deceived into misery. The beautiful house they were dreaming of suddenly becomes a real living nightmare.
It was saddening and upsetting to read the brief summary of the documentary “The Price of Sex,” produced by Mimi Chakarova. This is a documentary about the most serious type of sexual harassment, where women or children are being sold to become prostitutes. Gasp! What kind of sick minds do these ugly pigs/sexual slave owners have?! I must say that Chakarova was very brave to go undercover to meet traffickers and victims. I admire her work and deep interest in trying to assist people out of that horrifying life style. She is trying to make a difference by showing authorities that there must be a change. I concur.
