A racist anti-Obama bumper sticker!

So as we all know there is a presidential election approaching in November.  People have started to show which party and candidate they support. Some show their support by donating to the campaign of their favorite candidate, others volunteer, and some just buy bumper stickers for their car. However, there are some that show their support in a very cruel and disrespectful manner. Recently a website called, “Stumpy’s Stickers” started selling a racist, anti-Obama bumper sticker. The bumper sticker reads “Don’t Re-Nig in 2012,” and “Stop offenders. Don’t reelect Obama!” The sticker also features an image of the Obama campaign logo crossed out. It is deeply saddening that people would worry about a candidate’s race rather than worrying about what changes that person is going to bring about to this country. There are better ways to show support for a candidate not by expressing racism and stereotyping. It’s unbelievable that some people will actually buy a racist bumper sticker to put on their car. I hope people open their eyes and see what truly matters in this upcoming election.
