What is Pinterest?

As many of you may or may not know, Pinterest is the social-networking site that allows its users to “pin” pictures or information from the internet onto “virtual boards.” Other users are able to comment and share their thoughts about what catches their attention about other pins. About six months ago, it was not really known, but now it is the top third social-network site after Facebook and Twitter. 

From fashion to DIY crafts and from home decor to different foods, anything can be pinned onto the user’s board. It is a cool, interesting site where you may like products you may want to purchase or where you may acquire ideas for your own projects. It gives users opportunities to learn about different interests and as Pinterest’s mission states; to “connect everyone in the world through the ‘things’ they find interesting.” Check it out.
