Zombies might be
leaving our big and small screens to join our reality through the work of
Russian scientists. All the new technology that has been developed over
the years has apparently led Russian military scientists to the idea that they
can produce a “zombie gun”. This would be a new “weapon
that could theoretically render an individual pliable, or even drive them
insane by directly attacking the brain”. Scientists are producing it, but who
came up with the idea? It was none other than a pledge from Russian president Vladimir
Putin. Why go through this development? Nothing has really been officially said
except that he believes it can be used “for achieving political and strategic
goals”. 
Although he seems
content with the possible outcomes that will favor him and his plans, there are
quite a few worldwide downfalls that I can think of. The Walking Dead is a great show, quite a few people love to watch
it; but, will they feel the same way once there is a possibility of them being
in the same situations? I really doubt they will be thrilled. This news can
cause an outbreak of panic and anxiety throughout the world. Let’s not
forget about a consequence that panic leads to in other countries—war. I’m
not saying anything will get to that point and hopefully not, because we don’t
really need to be putting more lives in danger with wars. But wouldn’t each
country want to fight for their safety after hearing President Putin say he
would use the mentioned “zombie gun” for “political goals”? What should we expect with this release of informations?
